Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (these "Terms") govern your access to and use of the coinsentry crypto alerts web application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using coinsentry, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service. For information about how we collect, use, and protect personal information, please review our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Your acceptance of these Terms also signifies your acceptance of the Privacy Policy.
2. Accounts and Registration
Account Creation: To use coinsentry's services, you must create an account and maintain an active subscription. There is no free tier available. You can register using your email address and a password, or by signing in through approved third-party platforms (such as Meta/Facebook, Google, X/Twitter, or Discord). You agree to provide truthful, accurate, and current information during registration and to promptly update this information if it changes. You must not create an account using false identity information or on behalf of someone else without authorization.
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. If you choose a password for your coinsentry account, you should use a strong and unique password and keep it secure. If you use a third-party login, ensure your third-party account is secure. Do not share your account or password with others. You agree to notify us immediately at info@coinsentry.app if you suspect any unauthorized access to or use of your account, or any other breach of security. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your account credentials.
Eligibility: By using the coinsentry Service, you affirm that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by laws in your country for you to lawfully use this Service). coinsentry is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly provide accounts to or collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live (typically 18 years in many jurisdictions), you may use coinsentry only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms. You also represent that you are legally permitted to use the Service and that you are responsible for ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to you.
3. coinsentry Services (Crypto Alerts)
coinsentry provides a platform for users to receive cryptocurrency price and market alerts. Once you set up an alert (for example, when a particular coin reaches a certain price or a market condition is met), coinsentry will attempt to send you a notification via the methods you choose (such as email or other supported notification channels). These alerts and any related information provided by coinsentry are intended to help you stay informed about cryptocurrency markets. While we strive to provide timely and accurate alerts, coinsentry does not guarantee that any alert or market information will be delivered to you by a certain time or will be error-free. Cryptocurrency prices and markets can change rapidly. There may be instances where alerts are delayed, not delivered, or contain inaccuracies due to technical issues, exchange data outages, or other unforeseen problems. By using our Service, you understand and accept that occasional delays or inaccuracies in alerts are possible. You agree that you will not rely on coinsentry as your sole source of information for critical trading or investment decisions. Always consider verifying important data through multiple sources. coinsentry's role is to inform you of market changes according to your preset criteria; how you act on that information is entirely your responsibility.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Subscription Required: Access to coinsentry requires an active subscription. We do not offer a free tier or free trial. By subscribing to coinsentry, you agree to pay all fees associated with your selected subscription plan.
Billing: You will be billed according to the subscription plan you select. Subscription fees are charged at the beginning of your billing cycle. All payments must be made using an approved payment method. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred in connection with your account.
30-Day Money Back Guarantee: We offer a 30-day money back guarantee on all new subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with the Service for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase by contacting info@coinsentry.app.
Subscription Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting info@coinsentry.app. Cancellations will take effect at the end of your current billing period. No pro-rated refunds will be issued for the unused portion of your current billing cycle. Your access to the Service will continue until the end of your current billing period.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to change our subscription fees at any time. If we change the fees for your subscription, we will provide notice of the change on our website or by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
5. No Financial Advice
All information, alerts, and content provided by coinsentry are for general informational purposes only and do not constitute financial or investment advice. coinsentry is not a registered broker-dealer, investment advisor, or financial planner. We do not provide personalized investment advice, and no part of the Service should be interpreted as a recommendation to engage in or refrain from any cryptocurrency trading or investment activity. You should always conduct your own research and consider your financial situation, risk tolerance, and investment objectives before making investment decisions. If necessary, seek advice from qualified financial professionals. Any actions you take upon the information or alerts obtained through coinsentry are taken at your own risk. You acknowledge that coinsentry and its team will not be held responsible or liable for any losses, damages, or negative outcomes resulting from any decision you make based on information from the Service. In other words, using coinsentry does not create any fiduciary relationship — you are solely responsible for your investment decisions.
6. User Conduct and Prohibited Uses
We expect all users to use coinsentry in a lawful and respectful manner. By using the Service, you agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
- Unlawful Activities: Do not use coinsentry for any purpose that is illegal or prohibited by law. You agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and rules (including financial regulations) when using the Service. You will not use the Service to facilitate or promote any illegal transaction, fraud, money laundering, or any other unlawful activity.
- Interference with the Service: Do not disrupt, interfere with, or degrade the performance or integrity of coinsentry. This means you must not attempt to hack, overload, or disable the Service. Prohibited actions include introducing viruses or harmful code, launching denial-of-service attacks, attempting to bypass security measures or access controls, or using automated scripts or bots to scrape data or otherwise improperly access any portion of the Service.
- Unauthorized Access: You will not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any user accounts, computer systems, or networks associated with coinsentry. This includes not using another user's account without permission, and not attempting to discover or steal other users' login credentials or personal information.
- Misrepresentation and Impersonation: Do not impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent yourself (including your identity, credentials, or affiliations) while using the Service. You must not create an account under someone else's name or create multiple fraudulent accounts. You also may not use coinsentry in a manner that could mislead others into believing you are affiliated with or endorsed by coinsentry if that is not true.
- Commercial Exploitation and Spam: The Service is intended for your personal use. You may not use coinsentry to send unsolicited advertisements or spam messages. You also agree not to harvest or collect information from the Service (including other users' data) for any commercial purpose, such as sending unsolicited offers or selling user information. Additionally, you may not use coinsentry's alerts or data in bulk to create your own competing service or for mass distribution without our explicit written consent.
- Offensive or Harmful Content: (While coinsentry is primarily an alert service and may not allow user-generated content beyond account details) you agree that any interactions you have via the Service (for example, communications with support or on future community features) will be civil and appropriate. You will not upload, transmit, or share content that is defamatory, harassing, obscene, abusive, invasive of privacy, or otherwise objectionable or harmful, nor anything that violates the rights of others.
If you engage in any of the prohibited uses above or otherwise violate these Terms, coinsentry may take action including terminating or suspending your access to the Service (see Termination of Use below), and you may also be subject to legal consequences. We reserve the right to investigate any violation of these Terms and to involve and cooperate with law enforcement authorities in prosecuting users who violate the law.
7. Intellectual Property
All content and materials provided through coinsentry are the intellectual property of coinsentry or its licensors, unless otherwise indicated. This includes, but is not limited to, the software and code that operate the Service, the coinsentry name and logo, all designs and graphics, text, data compilations, documentation, and any other content made available to you (collectively, "coinsentry Materials"). These are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. coinsentry grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service and coinsentry Materials for your personal, non-commercial use, strictly in accordance with these Terms. This license does not give you ownership of any intellectual property rights in our Service or Materials, and we reserve all rights not expressly granted to you. Except as explicitly permitted by us in writing, you agree not to:
- Copy, reproduce, modify, publish, transmit, distribute, publicly perform or display, or create derivative works based on the coinsentry Materials (except for caching or as necessary to view content on the Service).
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code or underlying ideas or algorithms of any part of the Service (except as applicable law permits despite this limitation).
- Use any of coinsentry's trademarks, logos, or proprietary graphics without our prior written consent.
- Use any automated means (such as robots, spiders, or scrapers) to access the Service for any purpose without our express permission, or use the Service's data in any manner that competes with or substitutes for the Service.
If you violate the above intellectual property rules, the license granted to you will terminate immediately and you may be subject to legal action. coinsentry reserves the right to terminate or suspend accounts that infringe on intellectual property rights (whether of coinsentry or others). If you believe that any content on the Service infringes your copyright or other IP rights, please contact us with detailed information so we can investigate.
8. Termination of Use
By coinsentry: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service (including your account) at any time, with or without prior notice, if we reasonably believe that: (a) you have violated these Terms or any applicable law; (b) you pose a security threat or risk to the Service or any other users; (c) you are using the Service in a manner that could cause us legal liability or disrupt others' use of the Service; or (d) we decide to discontinue the Service altogether. Termination or suspension may include disabling your account and access to the Service, or completely banning your IP address or device from accessing the Service.
By You: You are free to stop using coinsentry at any time. If you wish to terminate your account, you may do so by using any account deletion feature provided in the Service or by contacting us at info@coinsentry.app with a request to delete your account. Upon our processing of your request, your account will be closed, your subscription will be cancelled and will remain active until the end of your current billing period, and your right to use the Service will cease at the end of your billing period. Please consult our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle information when an account is deleted.
Effect of Termination: Upon termination of your access for any reason, you will no longer be authorized to use or access the Service. Any rights and licenses granted to you under these Terms will end immediately. We may delete your user content, settings, and preferences, and we have no obligation to retain or provide you with copies of any data associated with your account (except as may be required by law). However, even after termination, certain provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These include, for example, provisions related to intellectual property, disclaimers of warranties, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution. coinsentry shall not be liable to you or any third party for any termination of your access to the Service or deletion of your account, provided that we terminate in accordance with these Terms.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
coinsentry provides the Service to you on an "as is" and "as available" basis. You understand that the Service is continuously evolving and may have bugs or inaccuracies. Your use of coinsentry is at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, coinsentry disclaims all warranties and representations of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, regarding the Service. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Accuracy and Information Quality: We do not warrant that the alerts, data, or any content provided through the Service will be completely accurate, reliable, up-to-date, or suitable for your needs. While we aim to provide useful information, coinsentry cannot guarantee that any data (such as cryptocurrency prices or market indicators) is correct or complete.
- Availability and Performance: We make no guarantee that the Service will be available at all times, uninterrupted, or error-free. There may be delays, omissions, outages, or technical issues that prevent coinsentry from functioning as intended. We do not warrant that any defects or errors in the Service will be corrected in a timely manner.
- Fitness for a Particular Purpose: coinsentry disclaims any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. The Service is not tailored to any specific person's financial situation or objectives. We do not warrant that coinsentry will meet your expectations or achieve any particular results.
- Security: While we implement security measures to protect our Service (as described in our Privacy Policy), we do not warrant that the Service will be secure or free from vulnerabilities, bugs, viruses, or malicious code.
- Non-Infringement: We make no warranty that your use of the Service will not infringe the rights of others, and no warranty that third parties will not infringe any intellectual property rights in the Service.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above disclaimers may not apply to you. In such cases, the scope and duration of any applicable warranty will be the minimum permitted under applicable law.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, coinsentry and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Service. This includes, without limitation, any loss of profits, financial losses, trading losses, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. In particular, and without limiting the generality of the above, coinsentry is not liable for:
- Investment Losses: Any financial loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of any decision made or action taken by you in reliance on information or alerts from coinsentry. (For example, if you make a trade or investment based on a coinsentry alert and lose money, coinsentry will not be responsible for that loss.)
- Service Interruptions: Any damages arising from the interruption, suspension, or termination of the Service, including, for example, missed alerts or the consequences of any downtime.
- Security Breaches: Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data, or any unauthorized use of your account or information, unless directly caused by our gross negligence.
- Third-Party Activities: The defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of any third party (since coinsentry primarily provides automated alerts, this is less applicable, but included for completeness).
If, notwithstanding the above disclaimers, coinsentry is found liable for any claim or dispute arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms, our total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action will not exceed the amount (if any) that you have paid to coinsentry in the twelve (12) months prior to the event giving rise to the liability. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless coinsentry, its owners, affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and legal costs) that arise out of or relate to:
- Your use or misuse of the coinsentry Service, or any information obtained from the Service;
- Your violation of any of these Terms or any applicable law or regulation;
- Your infringement or violation of any rights of a third party (for example, infringing someone's intellectual property or violating someone's privacy rights) through your use of coinsentry.
We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you (in which case, you agree to cooperate with our defense of such claim). This indemnification obligation will survive any termination of your account or of the Service.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will be governed by the applicable laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. We intend for coinsentry to be used in compliance with the law in all places where it is available. Although we do not specify a single governing jurisdiction at this time, by using the Service you agree to comply with all relevant local and national laws that apply to you. Because we are not specifying a particular forum, any legal action or proceeding related to the Service may need to be brought in the courts that have jurisdiction over you or over us, depending on the circumstances and applicable law. You and coinsentry each agree to submit to the jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection based on inconvenient forum, to the extent such a waiver is enforceable. (In the future, coinsentry may designate a specific governing law and forum for disputes once our company's legal domicile is established. Until then, this section is intended to defer to the laws applicable in the user's locale.)
13. Changes to Terms
coinsentry may modify, amend, or update these Terms from time to time. We will do so at our discretion, for example, to reflect changes in our Service or for legal reasons. Whenever we make material changes to the Terms, we will provide notice to users in an appropriate manner – which may include posting a prominent notice on our website or sending an email to the address associated with your account. We will also update the "Last Updated" date at the bottom of this Terms document to indicate when the latest changes were made. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for any updates or changes. By continuing to use coinsentry after any revised Terms become effective, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you should stop using the Service and, if applicable, cancel your account.
14. Miscellaneous
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.
- No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver of any provision of these Terms will be effective only if in writing and signed by an authorized representative of coinsentry.
- Entire Agreement: These Terms (together with the incorporated Privacy Policy and any additional terms or guidelines we provide for specific features) constitute the entire agreement between you and coinsentry regarding your use of the Service. They supersede any prior agreements, communications, and understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter of these Terms.
- Assignment: You may not assign or transfer any of your rights or obligations under these Terms to anyone else without our prior written consent. coinsentry may assign or transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, or by operation of law or otherwise. These Terms will bind and inure to the benefit of the parties, their successors, and permitted assigns.
- Headings: Section headings in these Terms are included for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect.
